Artist Statement
This piece is a monochramtice rendering of Audrey Hepburn's iconic lace-masked look from the movie 'How to Steal a Million'. One of my all time favourite movies. By zooming in on the gaze and expression, the piece reframes an iconic moment in high-fashion cinema as an intimate representation of Audrey's mystery, poise and timeless allure.
