Artist Statement
Syzygy is a visual exploration of alignment and internal balance.  In astronomy, the term describes the rare, perfect alignment of three celestial bodies (such as the sun, the earth and the moon) within a gravitational system. In Jungian psychology, it represents something deeply personal: the sacred integration of complementary aspects of the self—the conscious and the unconscious, the rational and the intuitive. Fusing deep cosmic alignment with human identity, Syzygy is a definitive statement piece. On a lighter note, it's also one of the few words in the english language that contains no vowels and 3 y's!. May this portrait serve as a striking, self-assured anchor for your home curation journey.
